I enjoy outdoor activities during the summer, I usually take a hike on a trail near where I live in the morning, and on weekends I would go further with my family into the woods. These are great additions to my hiking boots, sometimes when you step on hard rock or really thick tree root, the insole that came with the shoes are not soft are absorbent, now that I have these, I don't feel much when walking on a treacherous terrain, whether it to be moderate or hard level of hiking trails, as long as I have enough time, I am up for the challenge. Love them.
Just in case you DO have to trim yours down, the box comes with instructions AND a template for you to follow. I feel pretty confident recommending these, if you need to replace your current insoles!
These may seem like they are a little pricey but they are worth every penny. Very comfortable in my lightweight hiking boots. I bought a second set for my summer boots.
My Easy Feet insoles help my foot comfort, as well as my knees and back. I use the hiking soles in my hiking boots and shoes. I use the Black Onyx inside my muck boots. Both are great!

Both my husband and I need and use inserts with arch support in our everyday and our hiking shoes. The brand we buy is more than twice the cost of these but so far, these are holding up just as well. The arch support has a slight flex to it so it is very comfortable and has been holding its shape. These are not cushioning inserts but they are definitely thick and firm enough to provide a comfortable foot bed. My husband, who has hiked the 486-mile Camino De Santiago three times and certainly knows his foot comfort needs, has asked me to order him his own pair and that is high praise indeed. If you are someone who needs a medium level of arch support with just enough give for comfort, these might be for you.
Loving them! After healing my foot from Planter Fasciitis I needed an in sole to fit my arch but yet be flexible. This fits my need perfectly. I pair them with my airsoles and have the most comfortable work boots now with no pain.
I have other insoles from easy feet that I love, I bought this pair for my hiking shoes. While they are comfortable, I would have liked a slightly stiffer insole to help my hiking shoes over a rough terrain. The instep on this model is not too high or firm, which works well for a more comfortable experience however.

I've used the same brand of insoles in my shoes and boots for many years, and decided to try something new as my feet had begun to hurt again. the EASYFEET HIKING KINERGY have proven to be a big improvement and relief to my old feet. My everyday shoes are ankle height hiking boots with mid-weight socks. I've been wearing the EASYFEET insoles for about a month now and they fit the boots just right and provide just the right arch support and cushioning whether on flat ground or rough country backpacking.
I switched out the insoles in my Trail shoes (Montrail) for these. What a difference. These are so comfortable and supportive that the arthritis in my feet and ankles are much less noticeable on my walks and trail hikes. Excellent arch support. If you have foot and ankle pain you should try these.

I ordered the EASYFEET Advanced Hiking Insoles for the hiker in our household. He travels over surfaces ranging from hard paved paths to uneven woodland floors. It’s important that his feet have the support he needs on these ventures or he experiences foot and back pain. He was impressed with his introduction to EASYFEET, the next concern he was how they would hold up. He’s found that many inserts begin to break down quickly after he begins to use them. Some even show signs of wear in the stress spots from the first use. These did not. Of course it will take many more active moments to make a thorough assessment of how well these inserts will perform in the long run, but he has said he can often tell almost instantly when an insert won’t work well. That was not the case with these, he kept coming back to the fact that they felt comfortable. At this point in time he has a very good feeling about these inserts. Should they begin deteriorating quickly or break down and feel uncomfortable I’ll revisit my review and give an updated report.
